The Hawk 20 Cabin is a 20ft (6.1m) trailer-sailer designed to be fast and fun to sail, stability and safe. It has built a great reputation over the years. The lifting keel (0.23m to 1.30m draft) makes launch and recovery easy and is ideal for lakes, rivers, creeks and coastal exploration. Construction:
GRP throughout with lift keel (0.23m to 1.30m draft) and transom hung ridder with tiller steering. There is sufficient built in buoyancy to keep the boat afloat and the large cockpit is self draining.
Mechanicals:
Powered by a Honda 6hp outboard with a 15lt remote tank, last serviced 2025.
Rigging and Sails:
Fractional Bermudan Sloop with slab reefing Mainsail, furling Jib (recently serviced) and conventional spinnaker with pole.
Accommodation:
The Cabin version has space for 2 adults, a cooker and loo in the snug but functional cabin. The addition of a boom tent would be well worth looking into for extra covered living area.
