2004 Bayliner 285 Cruiser

The Bayliner 285 provides the exciting performance of a sports cruiser with a good turn of speed and practical accommodation for up to 6 staying on board. The cockpit with full canopy makes a great social space and down below there are three double berths, a galley and heads. The single Mercruiser MAG 350 300hp engine keeps running costs sensible.

Construction:

GRP construction with a planing hull, swim platform stern and walk through windscreen to foredeck. Antifouled December 2024.

Mechanicals:

Powered by a single Mercruiser Mag 350 - 300hp inboard petrol engine with stern drive. The large engine bay, entered via the cockpit sole gives very good access for servicing. Last serviced 2026.

Accommodation:

There is room for up to 6 to sleep aboard with an aft double cabin, V berth double and a convertible dinette. The good sized cockpit with full cover makes a sociable space for family and friends. Down below there is a galley to port with electric hob, microwave, sink with pressurised hot and cold water, fridge to starboard. Dinette seating to starboard which converts to a double berth. Heads compartment with electric flush toilet, basin and shower. Diesel cabin heating and shore power fitted. The full cockpit enclosure was new in the spring of 2026.
