Powered by two Volvo Penta TAMD 61A engines each developing 306 hp. These units are refreshingly uncomplcated and were built in large numbers with parts readily available, however, both these units were completely rebuilt in 2019 and have only done 100 hours since.

Marra Lass has been well maintained by the current owner who has owned her for the last eleven years, she is available for viewing on her marina berth by prior arrangements with ourselves.

Construction

“Marra Lass” is well constructed of two prime mouldings forming the deck and hull structure and numerous secondary mouldings forming the base for internal subdivisions. All modules are bonded together to form an extremely strong and semi-rigid unit.

The hull module is constructed of pure laminate below the waterline, above the waterline it could be solid or maybe have a balsa core. The deck module is of sandwich construction throughout with end grain balsa as the probable filler.

This is an exceptionally strong construction and by modern standards would be deemed to be considerably over engineered.

Engines

Powered by what is arguably one of the best engines Volvo has ever made Marra Lass has twin Volvo Penta TAMD 61A engines fitted in her machinery space. Both these engines were completely rebuilt in 2019 and have completed only around 100 hors since.

Accommodation and layout

Marra Lass has spacious and comfortable accommodation. an owners suite forward with peninsular bed and ample hanging lockers and storage. the forward cabin has its own dedicated heads unit with shower.

Aft of the forward cabin, and to starboard of the centre line, is the twin berth guest cabin again with en-suite heads. Opposite to port is the dining saloon and galley with steps up to the lower helm position and the very spacious deck saloon area. Patio doors lead out to the aft sundeck with ladder access to the well equipped flybridge area.
