Construction

GRP hull, deck and superstructure with lifting keel (0.80m to 1.60m draft) and transom-hung rudder with tiller steering. Wide side decks and cockpit area, pull-pit and push-pit connected by a single guard wire.

The keel was serviced and new parts fitted in 2011.

Engine and Mechanics

Powered by a Yamaha 9.9hp outboard engine (around 7 years old and 20 hours use - recent oil change) in a well with remote controls and separate fuel tank. A pair of 12V leisure batteries for navigation, interior lighting and inverter are charged via the engine, solar charger or shore power battery charger.

Rigging and Sails

Bermudan 7/8ths fractional rig with deck mounted alloy mast and spars. Stainless steel standing rigging and Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail with Lazy Jack bag - zip needs a restich (roller furling boom also fitted). Roller furling Genoa with UV strip and 2 x Spinnakers with pole.

Accommodation

Five berths in saloon and aft cabin layout. One double berth in open plan fore peak and one small single berth in the saloon. The saloon is a comfortable place to sit and has a central table which also houses the keel winding mechanism. Separate galley area on port side with a two-burner spirit hob, stainless sink with manual pumped cold water and ample stowage space. Enclosed heads area on starboard side of companionway has a chemical toilet and vanity unit. The entrance to the aft double cabin is to port. Eberspacher diesel cabin heating extends the comfortable use of the boat into the winter months.
