The Kemrock Channel 30 is a classic motor sailer with a modest rig and comfortable accommodation for up to 4 people. The large, solid wheelhouse with canvas cockpit enclosure makes for a light and airy deck saloon while below decks there is a second saloon with seating and galley to starboard, dining table to port with head forward. GRP hull, deck and coachroof with extensive wooden fit out internally. Shallow draft long keel (1.18m draft), spade rudder and wheel steering.Cockpit is sheltered by a hard "dodger" to which a full cockpit enclosure attaches. Hull epoxied 1998.
Powered by a reconditioned 1.8lt Ford Thornycroft inboard diesel (2010) producing 80hp and comfortable cruising speed of 6 to 71/2 knots. Shaft driven 3 bladed fixed propeller. Bank of 2 x 12V batteries provide engine start and service power.
