The Princess 435 provides spacious accommodation for up to 8 people in a 2/3 cabin layout and would make a great live aboard and a long distance cruising yacht. Sabrina is the high spec option 3 factory installed.
GRP constructed Motor Yacht with semi displacement hull. Built by Marine Projects of Plymouth in 1990, this proved to be a very successful model and very popular with owners who wanted sea keeping qualities and functional comfort.
With dimensions of just over 13M in length and a beam of over 4.00M she is a very stable craft and very manoeverable at displacement and cruising speeds.
Large cockpit with upholstered locker tops and deep lazarette. Teak stepped ladder leads to the fly bridge with large seating area to rear and pilot and co pilot seating forward. Central arch with radar. Area is kept clean and dry by a fitted canopy when not in use. The fly bridge and cockpit sole are covered in teak giving an attractive and non slip coating. Good wide walkways with a non-slip covering allowing for safe movement around the boat.
Large windows in the saloon allow for great visibility for guests when on the move. The lower helm is on a raised platform separate from the saloon. The aft cockpit has a full enclosure which can act as an extra room when the weather is inclement. The panels are individually zipped so can be removed all together or rolled up to allow ventilation.
Sabrina is powered by twin Volvo Penta TAMD71A diesel engines. These 6-cylinder, 357HP engines are externally cooled via heat exchangers and have completed 1400 hours. Vessel cruises at 20 knots with a top speed of 28 knots.
Engines housed in a illuminated, sound proofed compartment beneath the saloon and are easily accessed for daily checks or servicing requirements. Engine controls at both lower and upper helms with change over switch.
ZF reduction gearboxes with stainless steel shafts driving 3 bladed bronze propellers. Engines regularly maintained.
Bank of six 12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. These are recharged by the engine alternators or shore power. The yacht has the added bonus of a diesel driven generator housed in the engine room. This enables electricity to be generated quietly and efficiently when shore power is not available or the boat is in remoter regions.
